This adventure is for you if you have any interest in the following; fun, water, nature, history, amazing views, a day well spent etc. You get the point, this is one adventure well worth it!

The spit to manly is arguably the most popular bush walk in the Sydney region, and for good reason at that.

History
This walk takes you through a region of Sydney originally inhabited by the Gamaragal people. They have left a set of vivid rock paintings and carvings which represent kangaroos, and hunting implements used to catch them. Further down the track you can have a peak at the historic lighthouse of Grotto Point, built in 1910.

Jaw Dropping Views!
This bushwalk takes a look at some of the most beautiful parts of Sydney harbour, looking back towards Middle Head or South Head in one direction and out towards North Head in the other. During the winter months of the year you may be able to spot whales as they pass north for warmer waters.

Go for a Swim
Along the way there are many small beaches such as Forty Basket Beach and Washaway Beach. These spots are ideal for a sunbathe in summer and a quick dip to get out of the heat you have cooked up from a long walk.

This walk will take you the best part of three hours and is worth devoting a day to. Its coastal flora, amazing views, and stunning little beaches make this a must do walk in Sydney. You can even finish the day with a beer and dinner at some of Sydney’s best pubs and dining locations in Manly.

                            💪 GET AMONGST IT!💦
