IT'S ADVENTURE TIME: Cabramatta Moon Festival!
I am so excited to tell you about this new place
I discovered while walking around!
From the Korean Suburb we went to last week,
Now I found a Vietnamese Suburb!
It is a suburb of Sydney, Liverpool/Fairfield in New South Wales.
2. Cabramatta is a FEMALE DOMINANT suburb.
In 2011 census, with a total population of 20,780
it is compromised of:
51.5% - Females
48.5% - Males
3. Cabramatta is considered a VIETNAMESE CAPITAL OF AUSTRALIA.
In the same census year, 32.6% of people living in the said suburb
were born in Vietnam and the next top two of the race in
this suburb are: 29.4% Australian and 9.4% Cambodian, respectively,
and the rest are of different races.
4. Cabramatta's major language is VIETNAMESE.
According to the NSW local statistics, 37.1% of people living in
Cabramatta can speak Vietnamese. The next top two languages
spoken are: 12.9% Cantonese and 11.6% English only, respectively,
and the rest are of different languages.
5. Lastly, Cabramatta is Sydney's Premier South-East
Asian Destination.
According to the Fairfield City Council, Cabramatta is one of the
largest Asian populations in Sydney.
So we're done with the background check!

Every year, in September, there is the annual
celebration of the Moon Festival here at
Cabramatta, New South Wales, Sydney, Australia.
This year, the Moon Festival was schedule last
Sunday, September 24, 2017.
With a schedule of:
9AM-8PM - Gourmet Food and Market Stalls
11AM-8PM - Entertainment Program
'Activities Around the Festival'
The following activities were also included in
the program:
people in various South East Asian countries,
so for it to be able to be celebrated here in Sydney,
it is considered to be as A Taste of Asia
because it shows a better understanding of
one of the City's largest cultural groups - Vietnam.
This festival is considered as Mid Autumn Festival,
or for Vietnamese, 'Trung Thu' Festival,
where people from different races
come together and celebrate the annual
Moon Festival through various activities,
including the people's favorite of all time -
the countdown for the fireworks.
