Observations from the Hil
Welcome back to the albly photo studio
Today I’m gonna introduce another place
where located very closed to Sydney CBD district.
Sydney Observatory is located on a hill now known as Observatory Hill in the centre of Sydney. The site evolved from a fort built on 'Windmill Hill'
in the early 19th century to an astronomical observatory during the nineteenth century. It is now a working
museum where evening visitors can observe the stars and planets through a
modern 40 cm Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope and a historic 29 cm refractor
telescope built in 1874, the
oldest telescope in Australia in regular use.
(Photo without the sunset, around 4:50 )
The highlight of this place is no matter what
time you arrived, it’s always has a good view for you. Also personally I enjoy
the Sunrise and Sunset of the day, I often took picture for there.
(The location of this place and
transportation.)
Proximity to key roads:
- 9 mins from Kent St.
-
12mins from Hickson Rd.
Enjoy watching the city and sky go by perched up on the hill,
