My Top 3 Cafes in Sydney
If you’re an Instagram fiend and love going to cute cafes for the aesthetic of their food and surroundings, these are three cafes to definitely put on your hit list. Located in three distinctly different areas around Sydney’s metro region, there is definitely going to be one near you for you to experience and enjoy.

The Wild Pear
This café is located in the scenic
semi-rural suburb of Dural, surrounded by nurseries, farmland and large green
spaces. Due to its great location, aesthetically pleasing food and great
flavour combinations, this trendy café has been voted Best Overall Café in the Hills for 2016 and 2017. Prices are quite
high for a cafe, with mains varying from $18-$29 each and drinks from about
$5-$12 for more extravagant options. However, I strongly believe these prices
are justified due to the excellent quality of the food, and the very enjoyable ‘country’
atmosphere the place provides.
The Picnic
Located in the middle of Burwood
Park, opposite Burwood Westfield Shopping Centre and just a 5-minute walk away
from Burwood Station, The Picnic offers patrons delicious and unique breakfast
options til 12 and classic lunches thereafter. Customers have the option of
eating inside a little greenhouse-like structure, or getting their food
takeaway and borrowing a picnic blanket so they can eat on the grass in the
park. Prices range from $6.50-$18.50 for mains, and they also offer a picnic
basket for two which includes all the picnic classics for quite an extreme $80.
Paper Planes
Paper Planes Cafe can be found in the heart of
Parramatta’s CBD, in a little lane way called Horwood place, approximately 10-minute walk away from Parramatta train station. This little hole-in-the-wall eatery offers wonderful all-day breakfasts with modern twists to appeal to everyone's taste buds. Prices for this cafe are very reasonable, ranging from $7 - $24 for a HUGE big breakfast, which could easily feed two or even three people.
So there you have it, my three favourite cafes around Sydney. I hope you guys can check them out if you're ever in the area and see for yourselves how good the food is and how nicely it photographs!
Until next time,
Patricia ☺
